Sadly my father, Roger, passed away on the 29th August 2007. The message from Roger below highlights just how much much he enjoyed running this business and how happy he was to have made so many good friends through Dinky Toys. AUGUST UPDATE.
This is a rather sad update, I am afraid. My health is not quite what it was and I am not really up to the work of finding the models of quality that I hope you agree have made Burnett Diecasts a bit different.
All the models will remain on the site and will be available as long as I can cope with the admin. In addition I have an almost complete collection of photographs of all the unusual models we have found over the past seven years. If anyone is interested in seeing them, I think Homestead has a photalbum process and I will post them there.
Just to say to all the people who have supported the site over the years, many, many thankyous. It has been a pleasure to deal with knowledgeable and friendly people and I am proud to number so many of you among my personal friends.

PS I am going to try to get to Sandown Park on Saturday 4th August. It will be my last one and I hope to see as many of my friends there as can make it.
