GRADING FOR ALL MODELS (common and scarce)
M - Mint. The condition in which the model left the factory. There might be a casting flaw or a paint run.
NM - Near Mint. One or two blemishes caused by display wear usually only visible under magnification.
E - Excellent A few very minor blemishes (Minor chips, rubs) on an otherwise superb model
VG - Very Good Model complete and undamaged but has some obvious chips or scuffs.
G - Good Model complete and original but may have some slight damage. For rare models we might accept a small repair.
sd - some damage

GRADING FOR SCARCE MODELS ONLY
F - Fair Chipped and playwear (only used for very scarce items)
Fatigue Pre-war, and some post-war models suffer from metal fatigue. It is not always obvious and we try very hard to find
models that do not exhibit the condition. Where we cannot see fatigue we use the phrase 'no apparent fatigue' That does
not mean it is not there, merely that the normal evidence of cracking, flaking and blistering cannot be seen with the naked
eye.
GRADING FOR BOXES
M - Mint Box as it left the factory, crisp and clean. It may have a price tag or written price on it.
E - Excellent Box complete but with some light wear or minute edge tears.
G - Good Box is complete but has edge wear and/or minor creasing. One flap may be carefully repaired
F - Fair Box may have repairs to flaps, more significant creasing or damage to the surface.
X - Missing Box
O - Never sold in an individual box
